How to Make a Pinwheel

Whew.

Sorry about the lack of posts lately!

Life has kept me too busy.

I have been occupied with last minute summer outings,

school supply shopping,

and the hustle and bustle of the first few days of school.

Thankfully,

I am back into routine,

and ready to blog again!

I thought a simple tutorial on pinwheels would be a great way to kick things off.

Crafting Supply Station

My absolute favorite store in the whole entire world is the Paper Source.

It's totally precious.

They sell everything from cute paper to superhero aprons.

They sell owl lunch boxes to stick on mustaches.

The only bad part is,

They don't have one where I live. :(

BUT,

They do have one in New York City,

Which is where I'm headed right now!

This makes for one happy girl!

DIY Headboard on a Tight Budget

I like to laugh at myself.

I laugh at me being the only middle school girl who keeps up with Design Star on HGTV.

I laugh that I get subscriptions to Southern Living, Country Living, and Better Homes and Gardens.

I'm the only 13 year old who's favorite store is Goodwill.

I laugh that I wake up early on Saturday mornings to go yard sale-ing.

I just laugh.

I made this fun headboard with an old yard stick.

I bought it from one of my Goodwill shopping trips:)

Tissue Box Makeover

When I was little,

The hardest question for me to answer was,

"What is you favorite color?"

It was always a mini struggle.

I said blue quite often.

Along with pink.

Sometimes I shook things up and answered with yellow.

 

Thrift Store Overalls

One of my favorite things to do is dream about my future.

Whether it's how I will decorate my future house,

What college I will attend,

My future job,

My kids,

My wedding,

Or even the type of car I will drive.

Cute Party Drink Idea

Wow.

As I type this,

I am sitting on a 100 degree school bus driving through the hustle and bustle of New York City itself.

I love the Big Apple,

But only certain places.

I prefer the areas surrounding Central Park.

They have a lovely charm to them.

DIY Fabric Strawberry

Today has been frantic.

Loads of laundry.

Cleaning rooms top to bottom.

Packing.

Yet it will all be worth it in the long run.

Tomorrow I will be on my way to the Big Apple for a mission trip!

I have gone for 3 years now,

And the trip just gets better each year.
