Button Ornaments

Pull out your calendars,
and get ready to mark a date!
I got the craft show details...
 < December 14th >
10-3pm
{Belmont Village in Green Hills}
It should be lots & lots of fun.
Me and my friend, Sarah Hayden, will have a booth.
We recently got together for a crafternoon,
and started making these cute button ornaments for the craft show show.

Painted Leaves

Happy Thanksgiving!
I'm stuffed.
Whew.
My nana can make some mean turkey dressing.
And don't even get me started raving about my momma's pecan pie.
It could be on the cover of Southern Living.
But the pumpkin cupcakes may have the pie beat.
Oooooo...
the fudge pie may win.
(You can get her recipe here on her blog!)

Burlap Flower Magnet Clips

First day of Thanksgiving break!
Whoop, Whoop!
Everyone comes over to our house for Thanksgiving,
so my mom is downstairs cleaning her heart out,
and I'm upstairs craftin' away.
Me & a good friend are doing a craft show in December,
so I'm actually crafting with a purpose.
I will give y'all more details on the craftshow soon if you live local.
It will be my first craft show ever.
I can not wait!
Today I have been making burlap flower magnet clips.

DIY Polka Dot Mason Jar

Me & my sisters are in love with the Cake Boss.
At night you can usually find us on the couch with Cake Boss running on Netflix.
We all laugh when he says "fondant" in his italian accent,
and smile when his sister, Mary, walks in the kitchen.
Two summers ago we were able to visit the actual bakery!
We had a ball.
We tried his lobster tails,
and took pictures in the alley behind the bakery.
BUT,
my favorite part was getting bakers twine from THE Cake Boss.
He ties it on all of his boxes.
So I gathered it off our boxes,
and used it as my souvenir!
Forget the t-shirts,
and mugs!
Now it is sitting on my desk in its new home...
the DIY polka-dotted mason jar.

Gold Polka Dot Wall

I'm about to let you in on one of my favorite D.I.Y projects...ever.
It takes no supplies.
Not much time.
(Less than an hour.)
And gets the wow factor every time.
I think it say's "modern",
which a pop of color.
I call it...
The Polka Dot Wall.
