Watercolor on Book Pages

This summer is full of fun times,
and "blah" moments.
I know I want to make a craft,
but I don't want to get out of the recliner.
I know I would benefit more from a creative project,
but I don't want to miss which house they buy on House Hunters.
I like the idea of having to think outside the box,
but at the same time I don't.
I think this comes from the thought of having to spend a lot of time on one project.
Therefore,
if I had a quick, simple project,
I might actually get up and do it.
This is the perfect project!

It's super simple.
Grab a book page.

Doodle with a pencil.

Trace with a sharpie.

Watercolor!

There you have it!
That was pretty fast, right?!

And, won't they look great in your room?

Y'all have fun crafting,

  5. Well hi there!!

Your Mom announced on her blog that YOU are blogging too--I think that's terrific!!

You just may be tomorrow's Martha Stewart! Way to go!!

You have a great inspirational mother...and such a great head-start!!

I just love these watercolor ideas!!
I'm an artist--and I enjoy especially painting in watercolors--but I've never thought of painting on book pages before! Brilliant!
Do you mind if I use the idea with one of my own painting designs? I'd like to paint something to post on my scripture/art blog.
    Just let me know, please...

All the best with your blog!!
