DIY Book Page Flowers

My family has 2 bloggers in the house.
My momma and me.
(Go look at my mom's cute blog here.)
(It's called DaisyMaeBelle.)
Two bloggers are a good thing,
except for the fact that we only have 1 laptop,
and 1 nice camera.
It's a constant struggle to get our hands on what we need for our posts.
So, as I have the laptop in my possession,
I'm gonna show you how to to make easy book page flowers!
They take less than 5 minutes each!
Supplies:
Book Pages
 (Newspaper could work also!)
Scissors
Buttons
Hot Glue (or craft glue)
Decorative edge scissors are optional!
Start out by cutting bow shapes from the book pages.
I found that the skinnier I made the bow,
the fuller the flower looked in the end.
Make sure the bows are relatively the same shape,
so they will form a circle when you're ready to glue.
Layer or fold the paper so you can cut several at a time.
Put a drop of hot glue in the center of each piece,
and start to layer.
I embellished the edges with decorative edge scissors,
but this is optional.
Keep layering until it looks good.
They look cute glued to sticks,
and stuck in mason jars!
Or glued to a push pin!
Y'all have fun crafting,
Daisy
